The company specialises in the construction and installation of high quality sets, scenery, stages, props, backdrops and other associated scenic products. We service the needs of the Film, television, theatre, concert, music, media and exhibition industries nationwide.
Managing Director, Jason Barker, leads a team of skilled and creative scenic carpenters, artists and metal workers, ensuring that the business continues to be recognised as a provider of high quality scenic solutions.
From conception, through computer-aided design, production and installation, we work very closely with our clients to bring their ideas and drawings to reality. Offering a wealth of experience and creativity, we combine traditional construction methods with modern materials and technologies resulting in innovative solutions for our clients. This has proved to be a winning combination in providing something fresh and new. The workshop (11,000 square feet) offers a large construction space. Modern machinery and excellent facilities are provided in respect of wood-working, metal-working, and scenic painting. The company has achieved a number of business Awards in recognition for its outstanding contribution to the creative industries. CNC Service

We are pleased to announce the introduction of not just one but two, CNC Machines, and now have the technology to vastly improve the speed and accuracy of our set construction. The advantages to you are not just speed and accuracy, but it is a proven cost effective way of producing scenic items such as parquet floors, spiral staircases, rostrums, fretwork etc, etc. This list is not exhaustive and we welcome any design ideas that would not otherwise be possible using traditional construction techniques. One machine has a max sheet size of 2500mm x 1300mm and the other can accommodate sheet sizes of 3100mm x 1550mm, and between the two we are able to offer a highly efficient and competitive service. Both machines are capable of routing most sheet materials up to 50mm thick, be it plywood, MDF, plastics, veneered boards, or aluminium. For our clients that are not in the entertainments industry, we now have the capacity to offer a wide and diverse range of additional CNC services that complement our existing woodwork and metalwork facilities. We accept almost any Computer aided drawing file for producing your designs or product .Or our design team can use a wide range of CAD programs to quickly and efficiently make any thumbnail sketch into a workable accurate drawing to be routed. Digital Printing (SCANACHROME)

Having worked closely with our suppliers Scanachrome for many years, we are able to offer our clients an outstanding level of service and reliability for all their digital printing needs. Based in the Liverpool area both Scanachrome and ourselves enjoy close proximity to each other, It's just a short trip down the road to see the backdrops in production, which helps ensure job satisfaction for the client. Together we specialise in large format printed Backdrops for the theatre, film and television industries. Working closely with designers we can produce almost any image at almost any size on almost any surface to suit your needs.
